Fishing

The spring and summer brings great fishing. Ruth Lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout, Kokanee (fresh water salmon) and Burbot (fresh water cod). Fishing licenses are available at the Forest Grove gas station or online at http://www.fishing.gov.bc.ca/

Mountain bikes

Mountain bikes (6 available)

Guests must provide own helmets or sign a liability waiver if renting without a helmet.

Many well maintained hiking and mountain biking trails are accessible from the property.

By the hour: $5/hr

Half day: $15 (4 hours)

Full day: $30 (up to 10 hours)

Watercraft

Watercraft rentals: Liability waivers must be signed for all watercraft rentals.

The fall season attracts those who love the cooler hiking season and the colorful landscape that comes with the leaves transitioning from green to gold and red.

Hunting

For hunters in search of deer, moose and other wild game, Ruth Lake Lodge is near crown land.

Relax and restore in our spa

When enjoying a wilderness vacation, add to the relaxation experience with a soothing spa treatment. The use of natural essential oils helps to enhance the treatment by engaging other senses and taking the bodywork to a deeper level. Treatments are provided by licensed spa therapists to ensure a safe and professional experience.

A large European style sauna is situated next to the lake. Perfect for a cleansing relaxing steam or dry sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the lake.

Sauna use is free of charge, but we ask our guests to follow the posted regulations.
